Lowering the crib :(

Carter is growing up. Tonight Kris had to lower his crib. The past few mornings I have come in to get him and he has been sitting up! Then at my mom's house he has figured out how to pull himself up. So...tonight to be safe, down his crib went. It actually made me really sad to put him way down in his bed tonight. I have been pretty emoitional since we saw Juno. I don't know why, but it hit me. I can't even see a sonogram without tearing up. While the thought of going through pregnancy and childbirth scares me, I can't deny a slight urge to expreience that miracle again. I don't think Kris or I are ready for that yet, right now, we just need to cherish every moment with out first baby. :)

Must See movie!

Kris and I had a date today and saw a must see movie. Juno was AWESOME! It made me laugh, it made me cry. I highly reccomend it! I loved the ending! I won't say more, I don't want to ruin it for you!

Sitting up!

Today Carter and I went to my mom's house to let crazy Chloe out out of her cage. She had been in there too long, because my parents had gone to Collins' college graduation. Well, while I was letting Chloe run off some of her energy, Carter practiced going from laying on his tummy to sitting up. It was hard work! Carter in his cute reindeer outfit I got last year.

Congratulations Mrs. Garcia

On Saturday night I went to Mrs. Garcia's graduation party. She is my former teammate who just got her masters in administration at TWU. We had a great time! Too bad I forgot to get a picture of the star of the show, Mrs. Garcia. I meant to, but I guess that one glass of wine got to me. Let me tell you, my ears got real red, real fast since I hadn't had a drink in so long! J'Layne, Tolson, and Sharon- pre beer (not fancy champange) pong.

Almost famous

On Wednesday Austin's episode of "Look a Like" aired on The TV Guide Channel. For those of you that don't know, last March Austin won a My Space contest over more than 9,000 people. The contest was to find a celeberity look a like. Someone submitted his picture as favoring Ashton Kutcher. Well, he made the top 3 and then won the final in a landslide. The show flew him and my mom up to Canada ta have Austin made over. Since then we have been anxiously waiting to see the show. They ended up using the episode as their season finale. My mom had a watch party. We had a great time watching Austin and my mom (and the fake "Aunt Sandy" and friend "Arabelle") on the show! They also showed great coverage of Austin's band. I guess you could say that he is more than "Almost Famous." Oh, if you missed the show they have been replaying it a lot! Dad, Leah, Cody, Jordan, Austin, and Andrew watching the show.

Cute pictures

Carter has several cute Christmas shirts. I am trying to get a picture in each one.

This morning when I was getting ready Kris put Carter on our bed with pillows around him. Wrigley and Fenway both jumped up around him. It looks like they are trying to protect him. :)

This picture was taken this evening when right after Carter had sccoted himself over to the plug. He began hitting it. Good thing I put the plastic covers over the sockets!
