Friday night fine dining!

Tonight Kris was not feeling well after mowing the yard, so Carter and I went on a date. I asked him what he wanted and he said, "rice" so I decided to head to Taco Cabana. Carter loved the "fine dining" and ate SO much. We sat out on the patio and watched the cars go by. This is his new "cheese" face. It doesn't look to happy!
He loved the chips and queso....he only wanted to eat the red chips!
He made quite a mess, but I went with it as he was having so much fun!!
After dinner we headed to the "Snowcone" lady for a YUMMY snowcone. Carter loved his very first snowcone! I got him Bubble Gum thinking it would be pink. I was very wrong. It was Dark blue..messy!! Sorry for the abundance of pictures, he was just too cute!
Yummy!

A rare picture of Carter and mommy!
Very serious about his snowcone!

Trying to show me his tongue!

So, we had a great little day night....all for under $10.00 too!

Busy day!!

I got some really bad news on Tuesday.....the CDC said that the Swine Flu wasn't the threat that they originally thought, so they suggested schools reopen. Boo! So since I had to go back to school on Thursday, I can to get everything I wanted to do the end of the week on Wednesday! So, I planned to meet Missy and Colin at Willow Bend, and it just so happened that Shawna and her boys were there at the same time. Score! Corbin and Carter
Excuse the horrible quality of the pictures......he boys are still cute!!

Carter and Seth driving a car!
The we headed to meet Auntie for lunch at Olive Garden. Carter loved his croutons and fries. He also loved jumping with Auntie.

The, last but not least, we met Dee and Fred for ice cream. Carter loved his chocolate ice cream with candy on it. He also loved giving Fred high 5's. It was so cute.

Is this a problem?

Carter sure loves to play with markers, but he just can't resist putting them in his mouth....

"May" Break!

Thanks to the Swine Flu break out, my district closed down for a whole week! I could hardly believe that we were getting a week out of school that doesn't have to made up! It sounds too good to be true! So, for the first day of the break we met the Stewart family at the Arboretum! It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. Sadly, I didn't many pictures with flowers, but I got a lot with kids!

Carter's 2 year stats

Carter went to his 2 year well check appointment today. I was SO proud of him! He sat so nicely while the doctor examined him. I was dreading the shots and he surprised me once again. While the nurse took blood from his finger he didn't even flinch. Then he only had to get one shot and he didn't even cry! I couldn't believe it!
He got a perfect report from the doctor. His 2 year stats are:

Weight: 34.3 pounds (97%)
Height: 36 inches (90%)
Head: don't remember #, but 80%
So, he's a big boy!Waiting for the doctor.
No smiles for mommy.
See my band-aid? The sucker makes it all better!
