Snow Day!

Carter woke up to a winter wonderland this morning and it kept on coming! I got up and found out that school was closed, yipee! We spent all morning in our jammies hanging out and after naptime we played in the snow! I couldn't believe all the snow. It wasn't the snow/ice mix I am used to here in Texas, this was fluffy snow, pefect for playing in!

Go Mavs!

We went to the Mavs game Friday night and Carter loved it! I have already talked about Carter's new obsession with basketball, so this was right up his alley! We hadn't been to a game since he was about 10 months old, so this was all new to him! To top it off, his favorite people joined us at the game: Ma, Colt Erica, Sam, Cade, Carson, Emma and Ella! When we got up to our seats, Carter said, "I want to go down there and play basketball with them. " Too cute! After halftime we went to the giftshop and Carter insisted on getting a jersey like Carsons. I gave in and got it for him and he walked around and thought he was sooooo cool!

Obsession!

Carter is OBSESSED with wearing anything to do with basketball. He HATES wearing jeans and only want to wear basketball pants. He tells anyone who will listen 2 things. 1: I'm a big boy and 2: I'm a basketball player. Hopefully this phase will end soon, he has too many cute clothes that aren't basketball themed!

Bad Dream

Carter woke up last night with a bad dream. He has woken up scared before, but this was the first time he has been able to tell me about it. This is how the conversation went:
CJ: I had bad dream
Me: What did you dream about?
CJ: I in airplane. Not inside airplane on outside. Airplane fall in the water. I have to be careful in the water.
Me: I'll bet that was scary
CJ: Yep, I have to be careful in the water. On inside on ariplane.

Poor little guy! I hope he has sweet dreams tonight!
