The reason why I've been such a BAD Blogger......

Baby Henry due April 20, 2011!
baby Henry
I have always been pretty good about keeping up with my blog, but this school year I have been SO drained, I haven't had any energy! I couldn't figure out what was making me so tired.....then on Labor Day, I got the reason
IMAG0241
We were SO surprised, but super excited, and I then understood why I have been sooooo tired. I was anxious to go to the doctor, but the earliest appointment was the following Friday, I had to wait over a week and a half to see how things were! I was so nervous for some reason. I was so happy when we were called back for a sonogram and we saw that sweet picture! We got a perfect report from the doctor!
Last week I went back to the doctor and got to hear my sweet baby's heart beating at 150 bpm. It was such a sweet sound. Once again everything looked perfect!
This pregnancy has been very different from my first. Besides being so tired, I have been so nausea us. It is finally starting to get a little better, but I defiantly don't feel myself. The first couple of weeks all I could eat were bean and cheese nachos- weird! Along with that one craving, I have so many food aversions. Certain things make me sick to even think about: BBQ, Chickfila (weird b/c it's usually my fav), chicken, Chinese food, pizza, milk...the list goes on. I also feel like I started to show right away. I am now at that really in between stage where I just look fat, no fun! Anyway, I am ready to feel better, but I know that the yuckiness means that my body is doing what it should. We will find out the gender in December, but Kris has the idea to have the sonographer write the gender on a piece of paper in an envelope so we can open it up on Christmas morning, I am just not sure I can wait that long!
Oh, I have also have had some crazy dreams, like dreaming the baby (which was a boy) came out looking like a fox and I was the only one that found it odd in the dream-weird- I should write them down....that is for a whole other post!
My goal is to try to post more...we'll see how that goes!

Happy Birthday Colt!

Carter was sooo excited to go to Colt's 13th birthday party. He is really into birthdays and is counting down the days until his next birthday (he said he wants an aligator party). Colt had his party at The Zone, a fun place with tons to do!

Perhaps the highlight was these go-carts. All the little ones were big enough to drive the little go-carts by themselves. As we were waiting in line, we began to get a little nervous that they were too little to ride them solo. I mean these were real go carts on a real curvy track. We lucked out and our 4 were able to go all at the same time. I really wish I had my video camera, it was sooooo funny!

Riding in a pack, Carson kept lapping the other kids, he really had the hang of it!

Carter could barely reach the pedal!

Another big hit was the mini-golf. Carterused an interesting form and every time we corrected it, he went back to his old way!

We were so nervous someone was going to get whacked with a club!

The big boys in line for the big go-carts. It was dark by the time they rode it was dark so all of my pictures look horrible.

Labor Day Weekend at the lake!

Carter, Kris and I went up to Oklahoma to spend Loabor Day weekend with his family. Sadly, I didn't do a very doog job of documenting all we did, but here is a little snipet. What I left out was tons of rides on the golf cart and gator, lots of thrwoung rocks in the lake, lots of swinging, and tons of batting practice with daddy. Here are the things I did actually document.

We took lots of walks! Carter loved collecting sticks!

Going tubing with cousins Makayla and Emilee. He was very nervous about this, but decided to go on it on his own. He made cousin Jason promise he would go slowly like an elephant. He basically laid on Emilee the whole time, but he had fun!
