Weekly Recap

On Monday we started the day going to a program at the library.
The place was a madhouse, but the kids enjoyed watcing David Chicken sing and really loved when he brought out his dog!

Then we headed to the Stewarts house. Long story as to why, but Erica had a really cool embroidery machine and I had all sorts of hope for making lots of cute things....not so much, I coudn't even get the thing threaded! Man!

We had a great time anyway and Carter LOVED playing over their house. He has asked me every day since when we can go again...he doesn't understand that they live almost an hour away!
Tuesday we had a pretty calm day. We didn't go anywere all morning because Abby slept until 1:30.....I actually woke her up at 1:30 because I was worried about her! She was fine when she woke up, just really hungry...I don't know what that was all about! I figured we better do someting otherwise she might not go to sleep that night, so we went for a swim at the neighborhood pool.
Wednesday, my good friend Angela was in town with her family, so we met them at the zoo. We had a great time and it was so good seeing her and her sweet family!

Thursday we met Shawna and her boys at their neighborhood pool. The kids had a blast playing for hours and we all got a little red! Carter and Gage Carter doing ninja moves

On Friday we went to Carter's friend Cade's house to celebrate his birthday. We weren't going to be able to make it to his party, so we celebrated Friday! Happy Birthday Cade! Abby enjoyed her second popsicle!

14 months

 Abby is growing and changing so fast!  She is at that age where I feel like she is like a little sponge taking everything in!  She is still not walking, but I know she is on the verge, she just needs to get a bit of bravery!  Abby is still a happy and easy baby.  Her sleeping is a little off as she has been getting up sometimes at night, but is pretty quick to go back to sleep.

 Abby is saying a few words:  dog, mama, dada, yeah, there it is (clustered together), paci, water (she say this very drawn out.
She can identify her bellybutton, nose, eyes and bow

 She is an pkay eater.  I feel like she is already getting picky. :/   The best way for me to get her veggies is with the squeeze pouches of fruit/veggies.  She eats them right up.  Other food she likes are:  cheese, yogurt, chicken nuggets, grapes, pb sandwiches, cheese its, cheerios, cereal bars, turkey, pizza, refired beans and prettty much anything we are eating.

 Abby loves her big brother and wants to do everything he is doing!  She loves to swim and goes underwatrer and does underwater passes with ease.

 She will walk if assisted!  She loves her push toy and walking with her big brother!

Weekend Recap

This was a carzy weekend with 2 birthday parties and Carer's basketball camp! our first stop was Jack and Justin's first birthday party. It was a short visit, but we loved seeing their cute hats, shirts and cakes......all coordinating of course! Our next stop was all the way to Grapevine for Brady's 5th birthday. He had a fun party at Bass Pro Shop! The kids got to paint a cute sign!

Sunday we went swimming at the rec center, but I don't have any pictures to prove it! Whew, what fun!
