Big Boy!

Carter had his four month check up today. He weighs 16 1/2 pounds (95%) and is 25 1/2 inches long (75%). He's a big boy! He also got FOUR shots! He did such a great job. I had to hold his arms while they gave him the shots. I knew when she poked him because his eyes got as big as saucers! He cried while he was getting the shot, but stopped right when the nurse was finished. He even smiled at her afterwards. As you can see he loved looking at himself in the mirror in the room.

Four months old

It's hard to believe that Carter is 4 months old. While it's hard to remember my life without him, I feel like he is growing up so fast. I wish I could somehow push a slowmotion button, so I could make sure to enjoy every moment. He is so much fun now. He seems to recognize me and Kris, and gives us the biggest smiles. He just makes us so happy. When I was trying to get a good picture of him today, I had trouble, because he likes to always have his hands in his mouth. The last picture is of him and Uncle Austin, and Uncle Austin's new amp. Carter got to take his first trip to Guitar City. Hopefully he won't be a musician, it's too expensive!

Today when Carter was having his tummy time, Wrigley thought I laid the blanket down for her too!

Shopping

We went to the mall twice on Saturday. Once with Auntie Jessica and once with Grams andUncle Colt. As you can see, we had a little too much fun taking pictures!

Future longhorn?

I used to always joke that I was going to put sugar water on my baby's fingers to make them suck them to make hook 'em horns. Well.........Carter did it on his own in the bath tonight. Is this a preview to his future college choice?

Carter went to his first softball game on Tuesday. He had fun watching Daddy's team win big!
