Blueberries!

Carter's current favorite food is blueberries! When I put them on his tray, he gobbles them up!

No more baby tub

After Carter took a spill trying to stand up in the bath, we decided it was time for Carter to move into the regular tub. So, we bought a non skid tub mat at Target and now he is a big boy! I think he likes it!

Sliding!

On Saturday after our jog Carter got to go sliding and he loved it!

11 months

How can it be that my baby will be 1 year old in just one month? My how time flies! I have to say that I have loved every minute of being Carter’s mommy thus far. I truly adore him and am still amazed he is mine! This month he has gone to drinking formula and eating just about anything I will give him! He is so close to walking and loves to get into everything! He loves to throw balls and to dance. He is so funny, he will pat his drum that makes music and just dance and dance. I swear every month he get harder to photograph, but these are my best attempt!

Bad habbit...

I am getting into a bad habbit with Carter.........Everytime we go to the store (Kroger, Target, WalMart) we leave the store with a new ball. The problem is that he's just so cute, I can resist buying him the ball. It goes something like this:
Carter: Ba, ba, ba (pointing to the cage full of balls)
Me: Oh, you want the ball?
Carter: Giggles and grins.
I then put the ball in the cart with him and he will pat it the whole time we are shopping saying "ba" so proud of himself. Now could you resist this?

Fun weekend in Austin

This past weekend my parents, Erica and I made our annul trip to Austin for Jerry Jeff Walker's birthday concert. My parents started this tradition many,many years ago and when I started going to college at UT, I started going, and the rest is history. We had a great time, even though poor Erica began to feel REALLY bad on the way to the concert and then she felt bad pretty much the whole time. It was nice to hang out with Erica without any kiddos around, though I missed Carter, who spent his first night alone with daddy! He and Kris had a great time together! Our first stop after we dropped my dad at the UT scrimmage game was at Trudy's.

Here I think Erica's mouth looks like Reece Witherspoon- I had never noticed that resemblance before!



Next we went to the drag and shopped at The Co-op and Tyler. I got Carter a new UT shirt that says "Texas Tough" The we went to Barton Creek Mall for shopping. I bought Carter some Robeez at the Baby Style that was going out of business. Erica found Carson 2 new pairs of precious shoes at Nordstrom.

Carter's newest trick is "Patty Cake". When I start saying it he will start clapping his hands!
