Carte left or the lake on Wednesday to spend the night with Meemaw and Pop pop and then Kris, Abby and I headed down Thursday night for a few days of fun!
The tube is always a hit! I love this picture of Kris and Carter looking at each other laughing!

We anchored at an island and played on the beach. Carter loved building this sand castle, but was devistated when we told him that the waves were going to wash it away!

Day 2 on the boat started out with a tube ride for Kristen and Blaine
Things got a little crazy!

And anothe sandcastle. This one was an Iron Man Sandcastle. Tony Stark bossed us around and told us how to build it.
After a nap everyone was ready for round 2 on the lake
Carter wore the beach to backpack while everyone played some water football....and I noticed a strike of lightening in the distance.
Abby and I hung out on the boat. Everyone stayed in te water for about 10 minuted until we figured out we should probably head back.....we had a scary ride back to the dock woth choppy crazy water, but made it back just in time.
The storn blew through quickly and we were blessed with a beautiful sunset!
