(Almost) Birthday time!

I can't believe that Carter will be 3 in less than a week. To say he is excited about it is an understatement. Every day he aske s me how mant days it is until his bithday party. I am so excited for him, I know he is going to have a blast!
Today he got his first birthday card in the mail from great grandmother. He was soooo excited to open it!

Fun with Colin!

Carter and I had such a fun visit with Missy and Colin. This was this first time that Carter and Colin have really been able to play and they had a blast! Their gap in age is seeming closer and I love it! What fun!

but this is the best I could get of Carter today. I had high expectations of getting some precious shots in the Bluebonnets, but he (and the really bright sun) had other ideas. He cried alomst every time I put him down in the Bluebonnets and wanted to climb the fence the whole time, alas, this is the best I got.

Easter in Midland

This year we made a quick trip to Midland to see Kris' parents and grandparents. Kris' parents surprised us and got us a room at a hotel with an indoor pool. Carter had a blast and got so much attention!

Another Easter Egg hunt!

Carter is really into this Easter Egg hunt thing! He had his second hunt at school, which sadly I had to miss because I couldn't miss school. :( That afternoon he had his third hunt of the season with my mom, Joanie, Colt and Erica's crew. It was VERY windy outside and ended up being quite an adventure (a door ding, runaway child and a playground mishap at Chickflia) for fun as it always is with the Stewarts!
