A few funny stories

I feel like Carter is just changing every day. It seems like each day he is catching onto something new. He just seems so observant. I have 2 stories.
*Yesterday I had a box a Ritz crackers on the table (his FAVORITE) from the day before. He reached up to the table and grabbed the box, brought it to me and said "bite."

*While we were at the hotel I kept Carter's milk in an ice chest. Well, I got his milk out and gave it to him. When he was finished he walked over to the ice chest and treid to open it to put his milk back in it. Then he walked over to his lunch box and tried to put it in there. Clever guy!

We're back!!

We spent a week in Houston while Kris and his dad took and awesome trip to New York for 2 Yankees games and a Mets game and then up to Boston for a Red Sox game. Carter and I had a great time. Scroll down for lots of posts about our fun time!

This is what a little humidity does to Carter's hair!

Carter LOVED going up and down the stairs. I tried to teach him to go down them by scooting backwards, but he insisted on standing and using the rail to help him. What a big boy!

Carter and daddy had fun throwing the ball back and forth up the stairs.

Teething again?

This is what Carter did to the star that Grammy gave him. I felt in his mouth and what did I find? Two teeth coming in on the top back.

Catching up with friends

While we were in Katy we got to catch up with some friends. Thursday night after we arrived in Katy Tim and Tarala came and had dinner with us. We really enjoyed catching up with them.

Then on Friday night I got to catch up with Katie and Ella. We had a great time eating dinner and then enjoying some Cold Stone ice cream- my favorite!

Our trip to the beach!

On Sunday we headed to Galveston for a little beach get away. We hung out on the strand while we waited for out room to get ready and then we headed to the beach. Carter loved to beach except for the saltwater when he put his head under the water. I think the pictures speak for themselves, I know I got a little carried away!

This is out hotel. It was awesome- wood floors and comfy beds!

Grammy read and drank her Sonic drink

All dry and ready to go home!

Moody Gardens

On Monday we went to Moody Gardens and had a GREAT time! We spent the whole day there and saw just about everything.

We saw lots of fish in the Aquarium Pyramid

and lots of birds in the Rainforest Pyramid.

The parrots were grooming each other.

"Bird!"

Checking out the BIG fish! Carter would say "fff"

"If I get on my tip toes, maybe I can see those turtles better!"

Carter thought the 3D Shark movie was cool to watch

until he fell asleep. Poor thing was so tired he slept all the way through the souvenir shop and the penguin exhibit.

We went on a ride on a boat called The Colonel. Carter has fun playing inside the air conditioned cabin. He met some friends that he danced with on the dance floor they had.

Finally Carter just laid down on the dance floor

Carter had a lot of fun playing in the water park. We wish that we could've stayed longer. As you can see, he ran through the water with his mouth wide open!

We ate a yummy dinner at Salsa's on the Sea Wall
