Carter's first day of kindergarten!

I was so blessed to be able to bring Carter to school with me this year!  I love being able to walk him to the end of my hallway each day and watch him walk to his classroom.  I love seeing him throughout the day in the hallway.  His teacher is so sweet and will let him run and give me a big if I see him.  A lot of the time this will happen when he is going to pe and I am on lunch duty.  My class is also book buddies with his class so I get to see him then too!

16 months!

Colorado Vacay!

We had an awesome trip to Colorado with my family. Kris had to stay home because he was not able to take off of work, so Carter, Abby and myself joined me family. We had such a good time and I am not ready to move to Colorado.....at least for the summertime! This is going to be the longest post ever!! It was a looooong 14 hour trip, but the kids did great!  We were just a little cramped, those carseats take up SO much space!  My pictures start with our first full day there.

 

Our first stop of our first day was to Einstein's Bagels for some breakfast!  Abby was ready for some breakfast!

Then it was off to the Denver Zoo!  Abby took a little nap on the short drive there.

 I have to start by saying we LOVED this zoo.  It's one of the best I've ever been to!  It was clean, beautifully landscaped and the animals were all out and easily visable!

When we walked up we spotted this cute little chipmunk!

We were so shocked to see this mamma peacock just walking around the zoo (not in a cage) with her babies!

The polar bear exhibit was cool, but he was sleeping, so it wasn't too exciting.  We did het an idea of how big he was compared to Colt!

The reptile/fish area was so cool!  I've never soon so may types of fish, smakes and lizzards!  The even had those creepy moniters there!  I didn't get mane pictures because the lighting was so bad.  Here Colt is acting silly with a statue.

They had a huge elephant exhibit.  It started to rain when we were at the part, so we went through really quickly.

The next day the big boys went on a brewery tour and my mom and I took Colt, Carter and Abby to Boulder for the day.  We ate at Chickfila, saw the University of Colorado campus and drove all through the mountains.  Abby liked looking at herself in the mirror.

The next day we started off with a factory tour of Hammonds Candy Factory

Feeling the cool mountain air. The next day we drove the LONG way home and that ended a great family vacay!
