Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving week. On Wednesday we headed down to Katy. It was a LONG drive with a restless baby and TWO dogs! The last time we drove to Katy, Carter was a much better traveler, sleeping the whole way. Things were much different this time. He was wanting to be entertained! I sat in the back seat with Carter and Fenway, and Wrigley got to sit up front with Kris. Carter went through every book and toy I brought quickly. It didn't help that the trip took 6 1/2 hours. We hit horrible traffic in Conroe! Once we got there, we had a nice time. Carter loved eating dressing with Thanksgiving dinner and loved all the attention he got. The only negative thing is that he got a cold (along with cutting his first tooth- it's STILL at the gumline), and couldn't breathe through his nose, so he had sleeping issues! Kris and I realize we have so much to be thankful for. Especially our sweet baby boy! Carter in his new big boy car seat on the way to Katy.

Happy Thanksgiving!
