I'm lovin it!

The weather that is! I love the crisp autumn air, especially when it's warm enough to wear shorts, but cool enough to feel comfortable. I could just spend all day outside, and that's what we do a lot. Carter loves playing with his remote controlled car, such fun for a four year old and Abby just loves to watch!

Daylights savings time....

turned into my house waking up earlier. It's probably a good thing since I bring Carter to school late just about every day! Our morning seemed extra long this morning, so we spent a long time haning out in Abby's room.

Carter listened to his iTouch and had a snack...he loves to sing along with the Spongebob song the Flaming Lips did.

Hmmmm......

Abby loves Cheerios and especially loves that she can feed them to herself!

29 weeks

This week I have been trying to give Abby more baby food. So far she loves the fruits and is okay with the veggies, shocker, huh! I have been giving her a half jar of veggies and a half jar of fruit about once a day. I have been trying to do it around 5 before I cook dinner. This is a time she is a bit grumpy and food makes her happy. It's nice because then I can give her some puffs to eat while I am cooking. It's nice that she can feed them to herself now!
She is still drooling like crazy. She loves music and starts bouncing up and down when I start singing. Still no crawling, but if I set her on the floor she will scoot backwards...but she is rarely tolerates not being held too long! She is really strong on her legs and can stand independanly if she is holding onto something, but she is not pulling herself up, which is fine with me!
She loves to swim! We go about twice a week and she is doing awesome. When I out her under, she closes her eyes when I say 3 and she kicks her legs and moves her arms up to the surface....I really need to get some video of it! She also is so good at floating on her back and I can just about let go of her head and let her float independantly.
She wasn't too into pictures this week, so these aren't the best!

Trick or Treat!

Carter was so excited to go trick or treating this year. This is the first year he has really gotten into it and he had so much fun! He excitiedly said "Trick or Treat" at each house and remebered to say thank you without being reminded at almost every house!

Abby dressed up as Belle for her first Halloween. Carter told us she should be a princess and helped us decide on Belle!

He walked up to each door with such confidance! It was such a beautiful night that many people were sitting outside to hand out candy. Most people just put the candy in his bad, but with the ones that let him choose, he spent forever deciding what candy to pick, he took it seriuosly!

Sleepy girl fell asleep.

This was the one house that scared him a little.....right after I took this picture the ghost shouted "boo" and made him jump. He stayed up there though, I was surprised at how brave he was!
