We just got a package!

Carter was SO SUPER excited when we opened the front door and there was a package with his name on it!

Meemaw and Poppop sent Abby and him a surprise!

Abby got a cute new outfit and Carter got some candy and 2 Halloween books.

He had to call Meemaw and tell her thank you.
Now every day he wants to check the mail because he thinks he's going to get a surprise....a monster may have been created!

Neighborhood Fall Festival

I love my neighborhood and the sense of community there is! This weekend they had their fall festival that included horse rides, a pumpkin patch, a hay ride, trian rides and bbq. We had a fun time!

Carter riding a horse...with the sun in his eyes!

Abby slept through most of it!

Jordan and Carter picked out a pumpkin.

Waiting for the hayride.

Carter rode with daddy while Abby and I waited.

Baby Caleb John

Missy had baby Caleb John on Thursday and Abby and I loved visiting them in the hospital!

Have you ever seen a newborn with such pretty hair? Oh my!

And I couldn't get over how great Missy looked!
Congrats Rooney family!

Pumpkin Patch

I have been wanting to go to the pumpkin patch since the beginning of October and we fianlly went today. We went with Carter's favorite school friend Cade. They have such a special friendship and just love each other. We had a great time. The weather was absolutly perfect. The sun was beautiful, but so bright, so my pictures aren't good.

This is Carter's new smile....oh my!

Best buddies.

Abby and the dalmations! I used to collect dalmations when I was younger.

They had several fun bounce houses.

Hay ride!

There were so many fun props. The boys had a blast playing in the jail!

The small maze.

At the end!

That sun is bright!

Abby's first pumpkin patch!

Fun in the wagon.

The pumpkins are bigger than her!

Sadly this is the best picture I could get of them!

They had an old school merry-go-round. I rmember having so much fun on these as a kid!
When were were leaving the pumpkin patch, Carter said, "That was SOOOOO fun."
