3 weeks

For Abby's 3 week birthday we went to the doctor. It was actually her 2 week appointment, but it was a week late because I wanted to combine it with Carter's 4 year appointment.
She weighed in at 9 pounds 4 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. She has done some growing in her 3 weeks of life! She got an A plus for her appointment and her doctor couldn't believe she was only 3 weeks. She said the way she was focusing and the reflexes she was doing (the hunter's pose?) she seemed like a 2 month old.
At 3 weeks Abby is eating about every 3 hours during the day and going 4-5 hour stretches at night. She still sleeps a lot during the day and is a really good baby except from about 6-8 at night when she gets pretty fussy. She loves to be held and is very cuddly. Her cord fell off on Saturday at 16 days old. She has had some real baths and she really enjoys them. Here are some pictures of my sweet 3 week old.



This is how I look at 6 in the evening if I am not being held. I have to admit that I think her little tounge looks cute when she cries!

Awww, she got a shot and a pku test. She only cried a second with the shot and only cried when they pricked her heel with the pku test.
