We went to the doctor for his 4 year checkup and he got 5 shots! It broke my heart when they had to hold him down and he yelled "ouchie!". When we were leaving he said he couldn't walk. I had to bribe him with a toy from Target to get him to stop crying and then to walk out! At his appointment he weighed 50 pounds (100+%) and was 41 inches (75%) tall. Here are a few more things about Carter at 4 years old.
He loves Sponge Bob and Sonic movies. He loves to try to to quote them as he goes along (especially the "Sonic Underground" song.) He also loves Toy Story. He goes troughs phases with movies, and these are the most popular right now.
He is really into Superhero action figures. He is finally at the point where he will play independently with them. I LOVE to listen to him play with them. The things he says are so cute!
Carter has a major sweet tooth. The other day I let him pick out some ice cream and he started out with vanilla chocolate chip, but the he spotted the chocolate chocolate chip and wanted that....he's so my child! His other favorite foods are peanut butter (sandwich, with apples, crackers...), pizza, chicken fried rice, chickflia nuggets, yogurt, cereal...all very healthy, ha!
Carter loves his friends and especially loves and looks up to his uncle, Colt. He copies what Colt says and does all the time. He loves to play with Colt's friends too. He likes to play rough, but can get along with anyone. He is the type of kid that can find a friend anywhere we go, and I love that about him.
Since Abby has been born he has been very sensitive. He gets his feeling hurt very easily. He has always been a cuddler, but ever more so these days. He still like to be held (yes all fifty pounds of him!) and is into blowing kisses right now!
Carter loves his baby sister and is in her face all the time. He loves to hug and kiss her. He has grown up a lot since she has been born. I have to add this for my memory, but when I had to explain to him about nursing Abby he said, "That's weird, that's freaking me out." It was so funny!
He loves to give her her paci when she is crying. He is sometimes a little too helpful and worries about her a lot! Yesterday I had her in the swing and he was worried it was going too fast and he slowed it down, which woke her up.....sweet, but frustrating at times!
I am so thankful for having such a sweet boy, I can't wait to see what the next year has in store!!
