It happened.........

probably the grossest thing that can happen when you have a baby. Last night I was giving Carter a bath. He was happily playing, and I was reading my People magazine (yes, I do that sometimes- I can still see him) and I looked up and saw something floating in the water. Now for a moment I thought it was a green bean from dinner....but upon further investigation (it was a very "Caddy Shack" moment) I saw more floating in the water and realized that Carter had POOPED in the bathtub. Gross!! I quickly scooped him out of the water and put him on the bathmat, and put Cloroix on everything that even came close to the bathtub (toys, soap, shampoo etc) while trying not to vomit. Carter didn't seem the slightest bit concerned, and happily went back into the bathtub happy as ever. Gross!

Ladies man?

Childhood fun

My little brother Coltin has a lot of friends in his neighborhood. Two of his best friends to play with are Sabrina and Seirra. They have so much fun together. Last Sunday Carter got to get into the fun! Carter, Seirra, Sabrina and COlt. It's so funny, Seirra always wants to hold Carter, but it seems like he is almost as big as her!

I sometimes feel like with all the shirts they are making now days, that they plan some with Carter in mind. Below are a few of these.

Where'd that red hair come from?

That's a question that I hear about every day! Carter definatly has an unusual color of hair- especially when he has a mom with as dark hair as I do! This could all be explained with you met his grandpa, who has the same color of hair as him! It seems like his hair looks the reddest when the sun hits it, like in this picture!

Crawling and standing

Carter started officially crawling on January 6, the day after we got bak from Vegas. Sunday morning I was playing with Carter in his room, and he just crawled forward to get a toy. Now, my in-laws swear he didn't do it before, but I am not so sure about that....so hopefully he saved that milestone for me. He doesn't do it real consistantly, I still haven't been able to get it videoed, because he won't preform! I know I should appreciate it, becasue one day I won't be able to catch up with him! going to get a toy

Dinner time!

Dinner is one of Carter's favorite times of the day! Carter's dinner time has also become Wrigley and Fenway's favorite time, because they usually get to eat too! Wrigley has gotten really bad about licking Carter's hand, or food as the case may be, as he his eating- gross I know. I have been having to watch them! Wrigley begging Carter for food.
