Library fun!

Today Carter and I visited the Frisco Library. I have been wanting to go there since it opened, but never seemed to have a chance. It is a beautiful library and the whole 2nd floor is for kids! It's great! I picked out 8 books and 4 DVDs (1 Barney at the Zoo, 1 Sesame Street and 2 baby sign language) for Carter. I tried to find board books (they had TONS!) with either babies or animals in them and very few words as these seem to be his favorite. I read them tonight before bed and he seemed to like them. Hopefully then is just the first of thousands of trips in the future! They had the cutest little chairs for kids!

Science Place fun!

Today we braved the terrible rain and went to The Science Place with my mom, Colt, Clint, Caden, Erica, Emma, Ella, Carson, Shawna, Corbin and Gage. We had a great time! It is such a great place for kids! Carter at the leggo table. We had to leave this table pretty quick as Carter kept putting the leggos in his mouth and I don't even want to think about all the germs that were on them!

Bad mommy award

Yesterday I got one point in the "bad mommy award" column. :( I put Carter in the cart at Target, but didn't strap him in (you can see where this is going). First I went over to the picture kiosk to make my Easter cards. While I was very busily working on my pictures, I hear someone saying, "Oh, sit down sweetie, you're going to get hurt." I turned around and saw Carter turned around standing up in the cart! I was VERY thankful for the Target employee who brought this to my attention, and thanked her many times (and for some reason kept apoligizing to her- I guess for being an unattentive mommy). Then I thought to myself, put one point in the bad mommy column down for me. At least I learned a lesson, ALWAY strap your baby in!!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Today in honor of St. Ptrick's Day we met some friends at The Irish Rover. We had a nice time, though Carter was in a bit of a grouchy mood because he didn't get much of a nap! Sharon and Carter

Carter's first St. Patrick's Day!

He was grouchy.........

He loved the beads!

He finally fell asleep on Tolson.

Barney!

I set Carter in his exersausuer in front of Barney, and he was glued to the TV! Carter loves him some Barney!

Easter Bunny Adventure

Yesterday I met Erica and the crew at Willow Bend to see the Easter Bunny. It went well, but as always, it was an adventure! The pictures will tell the story! Carter eating the white chocolate bunny that Grancy Toni bought him at the Godiva store. He LOVED it! After this picture he stuffed the entire thing in his mouth and threw the biggest fit when I took it away and refused the smaller pieces I tried to give him!

Carson and his bunny. What beautiful blue eyes he has!

Ella wasn't too sure about Mr. Bunny!

There was no way they weren't sitting on this docile bunny's lap, but Carson is ready!

I love Grancy Toni's face in this picture!

Erica was mad about the fan blowing the girls hair all over the place.

Cheese!

Carter being sweet to Uncle Colt, who we just hapened to run into at the mall!

Carter sees a "whoo"

Carter went to see his first movie “Horton Hears a Who” on Saturday night. It was a REALLY cute movie (and I am quite the movie critic) and Carter did a great job. The only thing he did was he kept saying “dog” when the elephant came on the screen. Other than that, he was great, though I don’t see many more movies in his near future!
