Carter has really started to get into pretending. I love to hear him pretend all sorts of things. The other day he got this boo-boo on his hand. I am not even sure where he got it. Anyway, the other day at school he told his teacher that he got the boo-boo from a snake biting him, he said he then had to shoot the snake off. What a funy litle guy. You have to look REALLY closely to actually see the boo boo! And just for fun, here are a few pictures from our little photo schoot I did the other morning. He got these pjs from Meemaw and Poppop for Christmas and I thought he looked so cute in them!
Chelsi! I have been meaning and meaning to get over here to tell you THANK YOU for all of the sweet and fun comments you've left on our blog lately. I appreciate them! Looks like you have quite the little model on your hands, lucky you!! How funny that Carter and Jagger are both 1000% rough and tough BOY - it makes me feel better! :)
Hi there! I am beginning my eleventh year of teaching this year and I am excited about starting it at Smith Elementary! I have experience teaching 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th gades as well as working as a Dyslexia teacher. I love teaching and desire my students to love to learn and to walk away from my room with great number sense!
When I'm not teaching I love spending time with my hudband of ten years, Kris and our two awesome kids, Carter who it 5 and Abby who turned one in April. I also have 2 fur baby beagles, Wrigley and Fenway. I love to take pictures, shop, be outside and am happiest when I am with my family and friends. It's going to be a great year!
My husband Kris and I met in college at The University of Texas and dated for 3 years before we were married on July 27, 2002. On May 3, 2007 we welcomed our precious baby boy Carter Jackson and on April 14, 2011 we welcomed Carter's little sister, Abigail Paige. Kris got his MBA at SMU and works as a project manager and I stay home with the kiddos living my dream. We have 2 beagles named Wrigley and Fenway and couldn't be happier with our little family. We hope you enjoy a peek into our day to day life!
