She LOVES stufffed animals. She wants to have one in her hands at all times and her bed is filled with them. When I get her out of her crib, she will say "uh, uh,uh" and point to whichever one she wants. She isn't attached to any one in particular yet. When she wants attention she will throw her stuffed animal down and have the person pick it up. She will continue to do it until I put a stop to it!
This girl is a great sleeper! She will take a nap in the morning and whatever nap she can get in the afternoon. Because of big brother this is not too consistant. At night she goes to bed by 7 and sleeps until 7:30 to 8. She rarely wakes up at night.
Abby LOVES to eat. Her favorite food is whatever you are eating at the moment. I am still trying to keep her as healtyh as possible, but I have lets her try a lot of different things. Some of her favorites are: oatmean, bananas, yogurt, water, cereal bars, turkey and ice cream to name a few.
Ahe has a few words: Carter, mama, dada, dog. If you ask her what the dog says, she says, "uff, uff".
Abby points to everything. She loves to look at books and turn the pages and point to things. SO far she can identify: bananas, babies, dogs, ducks and balls. There may be more things, but these are the specific things I have noticed. She loved books that have things you can feel or pat. She has a basket of books in her playroom, and she will sit there for a good while and look through books by herself.
She isn't walking, but does an unuaual scoot. She likes to lead with her left leg and sometimes uses both hands to scoot forward and sometimes uses just her right hand. She can scoot really fast! She also can pull up and cruise, but doesn't even attempt to let go and take steps or push things and walk. I know she will walk soon enough.
Abby loves the swing on the playground! She will get the biggest belly laugh when she is on the swing!
I think she is going to be left handed. She uses her left hand to do most everything and even uses her right hand to scoot so that her left hand is free.
She loves baby dolls. She will pick up her doll and kiss it and say "Ahhhh" as she hugs it. She will also try to give her doll her paci.
She is still a teeny tiny thing. She wears a size 2 shoe, 6/12 and 12 month clothes. She can actually still fit into some 3/6 month things and more of her jammies are 9 months and a size 2 or 3 diaper. The 2 really fits better, the 3s swallow her!
Abby loves to throw the ball. She will throw the ball and chase after it.
She is such a go with the flow baby. I drag her everywhere and she deals with every situation.
She is a little stinker when it comes to high chairs and shopping carts. She can wiggle her way out of every harness and loves to stand up and turn around in it.
Abby weaned herself before her first birthday. I was down to nursing her right before bed and in the morning, but rught before she turned one she started refusing these feedings. She also refuses the bottle. She drinks milk out of a sippy cup (I still have a ton frozen, so that's what she drinks).
This last picture says it all....Abby ADORES her big brother. He can make her laugh like noone else. She tries to copy everything he does and I would say, he is definatly her favorite person.
