Friday we headed out to Fairview with Colt and my mom to eat at the Purple Cow and play in the fountains.
Abby loved the lights, but not the water coming up. The water came in intervals and she would listen to hear the water coming uo and quickly back away so she wouldn't get squirted in the face. She picked up the concept so quickly!
Carter had so much fun running around!
And of course hanging out with his favorite uncle!
Abby was in awe when it came time for the water show.
She scooted around and got attention from every onlooker.
After a late night Friday, we had a super busy day on Saturdsay. First was Hadely's birthday party which had an adorable petting zoo
The kids both were in heaven petting all the animals.
The lama would grab the cup from you and tilt his head all the way back to get all of the food, and the hand you back to cup!
Carter was super intimidated by the chickens at first and was timid to grab them....
but once he got the hand of it, he was in heaven!
Abby watching outside the fence. I did take her in, but couldn't get any pictures of her because she wouldn't let me put her down!
pinata time
Happy Birthday Hadley!
And then some fun on the swings. Carter told me he was pretending he was Spiderman swinging around.
After the party we went home and Abby took a nap. We then went to a crawfish boil at Carter's friend Brian's house, but I didn't get a single picture. :/ Nexct it was time for Jen Jen's party at the Rosemeade Pool!
Abby adores her big brother!
Abby got so deep in the water, she couldn't use her hands to scoot, so she just wiggled her legs. It was so funny!
This didn't end well....but it was still a fun day! On Sunday after the kids slept in late, we headed to Gatti Town with our little family. We had gross pizza but fun games!
Abby and Carter really enjoyed this ride together.
air hockey
Carter also won this green ball in a claw machine! After Gatti town, Kris and I dropped the kids off at my mom's house and saw Men in Black 3 and had dinner at Chuy's. What a treat! Monday Kris went to the casino with his friends, so the kids and I met up with our friends at Chuck E. Cheese. Carter had a blast playing with Colt, Cade, Carson, Emma, Ella, Corbin and Gage anf I loved ctaching up with my mom, Shawna and Erica. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of the kids playing, only this one of Abby being terrified of the rides.
The kids loved looking around the Legoland store.
I had a $10 off coupon at Build a Bear, so I let Carter make a new bear.
Happy Memorial Day!
