What happened to my little model? Have I just taken so many pictures that he is sick of it? Kris would say that is the case! Well, today I needed Carter to be my model. I am going to do a photo session tomorrow afternoon, so I needed to scope out the lighting. As you can see, Carter was not thrilled with the idea..... He started out cooperating okay... But things began to go downhill after I took this picture......just picture him falling into the bushes....oops. :( Then I wanted him to sit in the grass....can we say dramatic? Some dogs passed by and distracted him. Then he remebered he didn't like the grass. His best "cheese" face." I then started acting really silly... I got a laugh... and then finally a good smile!!
That's what Carter is when it comes to playing catch or bat with him. He will throw the ball and hit the ball with the bat until you get tired. I'm not sure he ever would! Today Carter had fun playing catch with daddy with his ball and glove from J'Layne. It's a right handed glove, so he has to through lefty, which he's pretty good at. When he got tired of throwing left, he turned to the basketball that Colt got him while we were in Austin. I'm telling you this boy is obsessed!
On Saturday our neighbor Chloe has her 5th party! Carter had fun playing with all of the kids and especially had fun playing on Chloe's horse! Weee! He didn't want to get off! The sweet birthday girl!
Carter and I got back from our trip last night. We had an awesome time! We were super busy the whole time. I think we wore Carter out! He's well into his 3rd hour of his nap right now! The good things about that is I got caught up blogging before I have to go back to school tomorrow! Keep scrolling to read about our AWESOME Spring Break!!
Carter is such a funny little guy! He keeps me smiling all the time. He are some cute things he did this morning! He had a lot of fun playing with these blocks. I was pretty impressed that he was able to stack them so well! After he was finished he put them back in the box! Then he got out his new "fish" glove and ball. When we were at Sea World, he just had to have it. Colt kept trying to get him to choose a stuffed animal, but he said no to everything except this ball and glove. He carried it around the gift shop. After we purchased it, we couldn't open it because it required scissors and we didn't have any! So, I finally opened it this morning and he had such a good time playing with it! It was so funny how he was wearing with glove! Throwing the ball "high" I guess all of this worked up an appitite, so he went to the pantry and got out some popcorn. He told me "pop pop, Ellen." He wanted to eat popcorn and watch Ellen. That made me laugh because he eats popcorn and watches Ellen with my mom. He is such a funny little guy. My life would be so boring without him!
Our last stop before heading home was Fiesta Texas. We weren't sure how long we were going to stay since we had to drive back home. After a short while we realized that it was way too crowded! We did have a great time the short time we were there! Fiesta Texas has an awesome "Wiggles" themed kids area! Carter only got to go on one of the rides since the crowds were terrible! Colt was sweet enough to take him on the "Big Red Car." Waiting in line! Choosing a car. Doesn't Colt look happy? Ha! Carter loved driving the car! Wiggles land! They had a water area. Carter played there while Colt went on a big ride. Sliding! Carter and I also rode another train there! Carter hated standing in line, but was happy when we got on the little train! Waving! In the Wiggles land they had an awesome Wiggles show. Carter loved dancing to the music. At the end you could get a picture with the characters, but Carter clung to me for dear life!! Mesmerized by the Wiggles show!
