Happy Birthday Grandad!

We headed out to Grandbury for Grandad's birthday. They have so many sweet friends. Carter loved smiling and entertaining everyone!

I went with my neighbors to see the movie Up today. Carter did okay until the end. I think that it will bea little while before I take him to another movie though!

Fun in Great Meemaw's backyard

While we were visiting Meemaw, Carter really enjoyed the backyard. There were such nice shade trees and so much nature!! Carter would ask everyone to go on walks with him!! We saw this baby bird! Carter was SO interested in it! Meemaw later saved it from the cat!
We spent the morning hanging out in jamies in the backyard......Carter woke up earlier than everyone else!
He loved playing in the birdbath.....Meemaw put fresh water in it for him to play in. This just confirmed what I knew...he would love a water table this summer!

Rock Hounds Game

Sunday we went to the local Midland farm team for the A's, the Rock Hounds. As we were pulling up to the ballpark, it started pouring! We ran to the front gate and stood around , during the rain delay. The good thing was that our seats were covered and the ran cooled things off a bit. We had a great time at the game. Carter ate tons of ball park junk food and loved cheering the team on. He didn't want anything to do with the team mascot Rocky the dog and didn't like the loud "beep,beep" they sounded every time a run was scored, but besides that, it was a blast! Wearing daddy's hat to help keep dry.
