A fun Fourth of July

We had a fun filled Fourth of July. We started off the day by going over to my mom's house to watch The Colony Fourth of July parade. Carter loved watching the parade, but he was a little afraid of the noisy motorcycles. Next we went to my mom's house for some lunch and Carter took a good nap. After naptime we went shopping! We even found Carter a new toy for the backyard!
Later Carter and I headed home and had a cookout with our little family of 3. Carter loved his hamburger, Cheetos (a very special treat) and watermelon. We had fun palying outside while daddy cooked out. We ended the night by watching the Frisco fireworks from our front yard. What a fun Fourth of July!
